Leave Chiang Mai to visit Wat Tham Chiang Dao and Chiang Dao Cave (limestone cave), enjoy walking in the cave to view the magnificent Buddha statues. The cave is a typical limestone cave where you can see stalagmites and stalactites that has been shaped for hundreds of years. The cave also used to be a settlement of the Japanese troops. Then proceed to Thaton. Lunch is provided at local restaurant. Boards on a short boat trip along Mae Kok River for 30 minutes to Baan Mai. Continue by minivan to Visit to visit Padong village which are well-known as Long Neck Karen. Various Hill tribe villages will be visited on the way. Return to Thaton for Wat Thaton, which is situated on the top of the hill. From the temple itself you can see panoramic view of local villages, view of Mae Kok River and abundant forests on the mountain range. If time allows, visit local market on the way while returning to Hotel.
